Financial Planning
Columbia’s Office of Financial Planning is dedicated to helping students meet their financial needs during their time in seminary. A primary concern is helping students plan and budget for education and living expenses so that they can avoid incurring debt during their time in seminary. Please click here for a budget calculator.
The generous support of churches and individuals makes possible financial assistance for students at Columbia Theological Seminary. This financial assistance is available to qualified full-time students enrolled in the basic degree programs: Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Practical Theology, and Master of Arts (Theological Studies).
Types of Financial Assistance
Columbia offers academic and other scholarships to qualified students. Numerous other financial resources are available outside the seminary. In addition, need-based financial aid is available from the seminary.
