Handicap access to the building is provided in two ways.
From inside the quadrangle, a ramp leads to the main entrance.
From the Library parking lot, the sidewalk that leads to the stairs also veers to the left and leads to the staff door on the 1st floor (ground level). An intercom by that door is connected to the Circulation Desk, which has a door release button.
Library users with physical challenges may request a special security card that will open the staff/handicap door during building hours. They may also request assistance from the librarian on duty at the Reference Desk for the retrieval of any item in the building.
