Leadership Seminar on the Church and Politics, November 8 and 9
Decatur, GA— On November 8 and 9, Mark Douglas, associate professor of Christian Ethics, will lead a two-day seminar designed for pastors and others who wrestle with the relationship between Christianity and politics. Participants will explore how differing approaches to eschatology shape political practices, how politics plays out in light of these differences, and how churches respond to political issues. Beginning the day after the mid-term elections, the seminar will offer opportunities to frame these discussions in light of current events.
Cost of the seminar is $175 (includes two lunches). Register online at www.ctsnet.edu/lifelong/calendar/index.asp. Click on November 8. Or contact Pat Roper at 404-687-4587 or email@example.com.
