Carlos Cardoza-Orlandi Receives Award from Islamic Speakers Bureau

Decatur, GA—Carlos Cardoza-Orlandi, associate professor of world Christianity at Columbia Theological Seminary, received one of three “Building Bridges” awards by the Islamic Speakers Bureau (ISB), one of metro-Atlanta’s largest Muslim organizations. The award honors organizations and individuals who are considered Georgia’s most effective leaders in promoting cross-religious and multiethnic dialogue.  
ISB is an apolitical, nonpartisan educational organization and a local affiliate of Islamic Networks Group, the leading outreach institution providing education about Islam and Muslim culture since 1993, with affiliates both nationally and in England.  
Columbia Theological Seminary, located in Decatur, Georgia, was established in 1828 and is one of 10 theological institutions of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
