CTS's S3 Projects Convenes First Assembly
Columbia Theological Seminary’s Lilly Endowment-funded S3 project, an initiative helping pastors sustain the elements of Sabbath, study, and service in today’s church, convened its first assembly in August. Fifty pastors from 10 states and several denominations took part in eight peer learning groups.
Stephen Hayner has been named the Peachtree Associate Professor of Evangelism and Church Growth. William Brown has been named professor of Old Testament, a position he will begin in fall 2004. Margret Henderson has been appointed vice president of student services/dean of students, and Harvey Newman director of Columbia’s Faith and the City program.
