Dual Degree: Master of Divinity (MDiv) and Master of Arts in Practical Theology (MAPT)


Master of Divinity (MDiv)

The Admissions Office oversees the application process for the MDiv program. Applications are now being accepted for the 2010-2011 academic year. The admissions office will continue to receive applications to the Master of Divinity program until the class is filled. It is highly recommended that applications be submitted as early as possible.

To be considered for admission, prospective students must submit the following:

  • Completed MDiv Application materials, which includes the following:
    Application Form
    MDiv Supplemental Form. This includes questions to be addressed in an autobiographical essay.
    3 Letters of Recommendation
    Church Endorsement Form. Must be completed by the session or governing body of applicant's congregation.
    Scholarship Application. Applicants must submit by March 15 to be considered for an academic scholarhship.

  • An interview with a member of the Admissions Committee, normally conducted on campus. To schedule an interview, please call the Admissions Offices at 404.687.4517 or toll free 1.877.548.2817.

  • Official transcripts from all regionally accredited colleges and/or universities attended.

  • Admissions fee of $65.

  • If English is a second language, a passing score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL ) must be submitted with application.
