Students who are currently attending an Association of Theological Schools (ATS) accredited institution may apply as a transfer student to the exact same degree program at Columbia. Each degree program has specific limits as to how much credit can be applied toward a particular degree, and whether that credit applies to core or elective courses. Ordinarily Columbia does not receive transfer credit that was awarded less than a grade of B. All petitions for transfer credit should be made to the Office of Academic Affairs.
