Each year Columbia Theological Seminary makes its research facilities and faculty available to scholars from around the world. Persons interested in spending sabbatical leave at Columbia or those who have other reasons for being a scholar in residence at Columbia are welcome to
apply for visiting scholar status. Once received, visiting scholar applications are reviewed by the dean of faculty and the director of international programs. The applicant then receives written notification of action taken on his/her request. Questions regarding the visiting scholar program may be addressed to
