Will study important themes and practices in New Testament spirituality as these are expressed or implied in major texts, with a methodological introduction to the study of spirituality. Themes and practices may include the presence of God, prayer, the Lord’s Supper, and the relation of spirituality to social justice. The aim will be both to understand New Testament spirituality and to engage with it in ways that can be transformative for the spiritual lives and practices of contemporary Christian individuals and congregations.
