Social Media Will Enrich January Seminars 2012
Because the use of social media is one of the technological trends shaping the church, the Center for Lifelong Learning’s January Seminars 2012 will include a team of Tweeters for the lectures and for the workshop discussion groups, to involve participants in new ways of being a learning community.
Keynote speaker Diana Butler Bass herself is actively engaged in social media networks such as Facebook (Diana Butler Bass) and Twitter (dianabutlerbass). Her Facebook page received a mention in Elizabeth Drescher’s book Tweet If You Heart Jesus: Practicing Church in the Digital Reformation.
Diana also blogs (The Huffington Post and Beliefnet) and regularly comments on religion, politics, and culture in the media.
