Plugging Into Peacemaking

On Saturday, March 8 from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, there will be a “Plugging Into Peacemaking” conference hosted by the Peacemaking Partnership of the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta at Shallowford Presbyterian Church, 2375 Shallowford Road, Atlanta, GA 30345. There will be a light breakfast, worship, workshops, panel discussions, lunch, and exhibits. Speakers include:

  • Paul Roberts: “Becoming a Peacemaker”
  • Skip Johnson: “Can Families Find a Piece of Peace?”
  • Richard Jones: “Faith Voices Against Gun Violence”
  • Mia Levetan and Nick Setzer, “Peace in the Blogosphere”
  • Mardee Rightmeyer: panel moderator
