Trustees Approve Faculty Promotions, Tenure, and Dean’s Reappointment
Decatur, GA—Columbia Theological Seminary’s Board of Trustees has approved four faculty promotions: Carlos Cardoza-Orlandi is now professor of World Christianity; Kathy Dawson is now associate professor of Christian education with tenure; Rodger Nishioka, associate professor of Christian education, has been awarded tenure; and Haruko Nawata Ward is now associate professor of church history with tenure. The Board also approved John White’s reappointment to a second three-year term as dean of students/vice president for student services. Columbia Theological Seminary, located in Decatur, Georgia, was established in 1828 and is one of 10 theological institutions of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
