Roswell Presbyterian Church Family Ministries Director Receives Youth Ministry Award at Columbia Seminary Commencement
Decatur, GA.— Louis Daniel Imsande, director of family ministries at Roswell Presbyterian Church, received the Master of Divinity degree and was presented the William Rivers Waddey Fund Award on May 16 during commencement exercises of Columbia Theological Seminary. Imsande, of Roswell, GA, holds the B.S. from Clemson University. The Waddey Fund Award, given this year for the first time, was established by Walter and Cecilia Waddey in memory of their son, William, who was an active and vital part of the youth program at Peachtree Presbyterian Church, in Atlanta. The fund supports an award given to a graduating basic degree student possessing extraordinary gifts for youth ministry and pursuing such a call in the church. Imsande is one of 84 students who received diplomas from one of Columbia’s five degree programs during commencement exercises. Columbia Theological Seminary, founded in 1828, is one of 10 theological institutions of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
