Druid Hills Associate Pastor Receives Award in Evangelism and Church Growth at Columbia Seminary Commencement
Decatur, GA.—Edward Cader Howard, Jr., recently called to serve as associate pastor for evangelism and church development at Druid Hills Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, received the Master of Divinity degree and was presented the William Dudley Award on May 14 during commencement exercises of Columbia Theological Seminary. The Dudley Award is given to a Master of Divinity graduate who has shown significant achievement, interest, and commitment in the area of evangelism and church growth. Howard is from Cary, NC, and holds the B.S. from Davidson College in Davidson, NC. Howard is one of 92 students who received diplomas from one of Columbia’s five degree programs during commencement exercises. Columbia Theological Seminary, established in 1828, is one of 10 theological institutions of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
