Vanderbilt Alumnus Receives Award in Evangelism and Church Growth at Columbia Seminary Commencement
Decatur, GA.—Patrick Wayne Marshall received the Master of Divinity degree and was presented the William Dudley Award on May 14 during commencement exercises of Columbia Theological Seminary. The Dudley Award is given to a Master of Divinity graduate who has shown significant achievement, interest, and commitment in the area of evangelism and church growth. Marshall is from Pensacola, FL, and recently accepted a call to serve as pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Wahoo, NE. Marshall is one of 92 students who received diplomas from one of Columbia’s five degree programs during commencement exercises. Columbia Theological Seminary, established in 1828, is one of 10 theological institutions of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
