Columbia Theological Seminary Announces Doctor of Ministry Program at Montreat, NC
Decatur, GA.— Beginning in fall 2005, Columbia Theological Seminary, in Decatur, GA, will offer courses in the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) program at the Montreat Conference Center of the Presbyterian Church (USA). The center is located in Montreat, NC. Course work, beginning in September with the “Introductory Seminar,” will be offered in the Church and Ministry D.Min. concentration. Two elective courses in the program will be offered in the fall and spring of 2006. Columbia’s D.Min. program requires the completion of 36 hours of graduate credit and is designed for active church leaders who have completed the M.Div. degree and have at least three years of service in the church. Completion of the program typically requires three to four years of study, combining limited time in class, a supervised ministry practicum, and a research project in the student’s place of ministry.
