Explore Spirituality and the Second Half of Life, Sept. 8-11
Decatur, GA.—Spirituality for the Second Half of Life, a seminar co-sponsored by the Spiritual Formation Program of Columbia Seminary, takes place September 8-11, 2005, on the seminary’s campus in Decatur, GA. In this seminar, participants will explore the ideas that the second half of life is that time when we recognize our own mortality, when we move from doing to being, when we ponder our deepest identity—which is not necessarily, indeed is probably not, identical with our professional, political, or family identity. It is a time when it feels right to let go instead of acquiring more. Margaret Guenther provides program leadership. The cost of the seminar is $225. For more information about lodging, course content, the Spiritual Formation program, or to register, please contact Pat Roper at 404-687-4587 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
