Bethany Ann McKinney Receives Fellowship Award at Columbia Seminary Commencement
Decatur, GA—Bethany McKinney received the Master of Divinity degree and was awarded the Fannie Jordan Bryan Fellowship on May 20 during commencement exercises of Columbia Theological Seminary. The Bryan Fellowship was established through a generous legacy left to Columbia by the late Fannie Jordan Bryan of Columbia, SC. The fellowship is awarded to an M.Div. student who intends to pursue further study. McKinney is one of 121 students who received diplomas from one of Columbia’s five degree programs during commencement exercises. Columbia Theological Seminary, founded in 1828, is one of 10 theological institutions of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
