Trinity Presbyterian Church pastor Receives Award in Evangelism and Church Growth at Columbia Seminary Commencement

Decatur, GA.—Cory Stephen Stott, recently called to serve as pastor at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Meridian, MS, received the Master of Divinity degree and was presented the William Dudley Award on May 20 during commencement exercises of Columbia Theological Seminary. The Dudley Award is given to a Master of Divinity graduate who has shown significant achievement, interest, and commitment in the area of evangelism and church growth. Stott is from Chattanooga, TN and holds the B.A. from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Stott is one of 121 students who received diplomas from one of Columbia’s five degree programs during commencement exercises. Columbia Theological Seminary, established in 1828, is one of 10 theological institutions of the Presbyterian Church (USA). xxx
