Rodger Nishioka Presentation to Air on AIB
Decatur, GA.—Atlanta Interfaith Broadcasters “Keynotes” program will feature Rodger Nishioka’s presentation given in October 2005 at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Atlanta. Nishioka delivered the church’s 2005 Ennis Lecture on “Faith and Courage: Called to Be Brothers and Sisters in Christ.” Nishioka is associate professor of Christian education at Columbia Theological Seminary. In his lecture, he talked about what it means for Christians to be multicultural in a pluralistic world and how congregations can address the challenges of racism, sexism, and classism. The program airs March 20 and 27at 5:30 p.m.; March 21 and 28 at 12:30 p.m; March 24 and 31 at 5:00 p.m.; and March 25 and April 1 at 2:00 p.m. on the AIB Cable Network which broadcasts on Comcast Channel 5. Columbia Theological Seminary, located in Decatur, Georgia, was established in 1828 and is one of 10 theological institutions of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
