Seminar Explores Age-Old Questions in the Book of Proverbs, September 19-20

Decatur, GA—Columbia Theological Seminary’s Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a seminar to explore age-old questions at the heart of the Book of Proverbs, September 19-20. The seminary’s Old Testament scholar and author, Christine Yoder, will lead the Friday evening-Saturday program. Participants will look at how the book engages in theological-ethical formation and wrestles with such issues as justice, neighborliness, wealth and poverty, the "stranger," and what it means to "fear the LORD." The class meets 7:00-9:00p.m., Friday evening and 9:00am to noon on Saturday. The program fee is $100. Lodging and meals are extra.
