“Hearing with Your Eyes” Exhibit Opens September 17
Decatur, GA--Work by Atlanta artist Samuel O. Williams will be exhibited September 17 -December 13 in the Harrington Center on the Columbia seminary campus. Titled “Hearing with Your Eyes: Visual Revelations of Parables,” the exhibit includes paintings and mixed media works, through which Williams depicts the parables of Jesus. “My works are designed to provoke thought and deal with both the intellectual and the emotional consciousness of the observer,” Williams says. He invites viewers of his works to “emancipate your mind and experience the journey.” An opening reception for the exhibit is September 20, at 7:00 P.M . in the Harrington Center. Admission to the exhibit and the opening reception is free and open to the public. The Harrington Center is open weekdays, 8:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.
