Ann Clay Adams Named Associate Dean for Academic Administration
Decatur, GA— Ann Clay Adams has been named associate dean for academic administration, a new position at Columbia Theological Seminary. Adams will oversee the seminary’s student advising functions, will coordinate annual evaluation procedures, and will be responsible for an ongoing program of research that provides information for institutional planning, policy formation, and decision making at the seminary. Adams is a graduate of Smith College and received the M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary and the D.Min. degree from Lexington Theological Seminary. She had served as Columbia’s Director of Admissions since 1994. Monica Wedlock, a graduate of the class of 2007, is serving as interim director of recruiting. Columbia Theological Seminary, located in Decatur, Georgia, was established in 1828 and is one of 10 theological institutions of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
