An elective course in the certification program, "Spiritual Leadership," will be offered at the Montreat Conference Center, Montreat, NC, on October 23-26. The "immersion experience" will be a feast for the soul as participants study the formative elements of biblical, monastic, and Reformed spirituality. Community and practical application of acquired knowledge are also part of this experience. Leading the course is Tom Lewis, director of the spirituality program. Tuition is $400. Meals and lodging are extra. CEU credit is available for this course. Inquire upon arrival. In the "Spiritual Leadership" course, participants will examine such questions as: What are the characteristics of an effective spiritual leader; How does the Holy Spirit empower spiritual leaders; and What kinds of disciplines are needed?
