Pastor Nominating Committees Invited to Meet Seniors at March 9 Call Fair

2007-01-31

Decatur, GA.—Columbia Theological Seminary will host its second annual Call Fair for Pastor Nominating Committees on Friday, March 9, 2007, from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. To register, print and complete the Call Fair registration form and fax (404-377-9696) or mail to Judy Graves, Office of Student Services, Columbia Theological Seminary, P.O. Box 520, Decatur, GA 30031. John White, dean of students and vice president of student services, started the Call Fair last year to help connect graduating seniors with congregations and organizations that have openings in leadership positions. “We would love to see not only churches looking for pastors and associate pastors, but also those looking for Christian educators, youth directors, and other leaders in non-ordained positions.” Profiles of graduating seniors who are seeking a call are also being posted on the seminary’s Web site. The profiles are listed according to the type of positions seniors are seeking following graduation in May. Profiles are added continuously as students complete their “Candidate Seeking a Call” forms. For more information about the Call Fair and senior placement, contact Judy Graves at gravesj@ctsnet.edu, or 404-687-4523. Columbia Theological Seminary, located in Decatur, Georgia, was established in 1828 and is one of 10 theological institutions of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
