Carlos Cardoza-Orlandi Accepts Position at Southern Methodist University
Decatur, GA— Carlos Cardoza-Orlandi, professor of world Christianity, has accepted the position of Professor of Global Christianities and Mission Studies at Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University, beginning July 1, 2010. Cardoza-Orlandi has been a member of Columbia’s faculty since 1994. He will be on sabbatical leave during the fall term of the 2009-2010 academic year. Columbia Theological Seminary, located in Decatur, GA, was established in 1828 and is one of 10 theological institutions of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
