Columbia Theological Seminary Graduation Events Are May 11-12


Decatur, GA—Columbia Theological Seminary’s 2012 baccalaureate service will be at 6:30 p.m., Friday, May 11, at Columbia Presbyterian Church, adjacent to the seminary. Sister Margarita Martin, director of Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, will preach the baccalaureate sermon. Commencement is at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 12, at Peachtree Presbyterian Church, in Atlanta. Degrees will be conferred in seven programs: Master of Divinity, Master of Arts (Theological Studies), Master of Arts in Practical Theology, Master of Theology, Doctor of Educational Ministry, Doctor of Ministry, and Doctor of Theology in Pastoral Counseling. Recipients of awards and fellowships will be announced during the commencement service. 
Columbia Theological Seminary, located in Decatur, GA, was established in 1828 and is one of 10 theological institutions of the Presbyterian Church (USA).  Currently 421 students are enrolled, representing 30 denominations, 34 states, and 10 countries. For more information, visit
