Thompson Scholars Program Extends Application Deadline
The Center for Lifelong Learning at Columbia Theological Seminary has extended the application deadline for Thompson Scholars 2014 to January 6, 2014.
A Different World: Evangelism for the Screen Share Generation is scheduled for April 29 – May 2, 2014 on the seminary campus. This annual event, led by Ralph C. Basui Watkins, associate professor of evangelism and church growth, brings together pastors and other church leaders to explore contemporary approaches to evangelism.
According to Watkins, “We have a great pool of applicants so far, but want to encourage others to apply for this opportunity to learn with and from colleagues engaged in a variety of ministry settings.” Applicants will be notified of their status by January 15, 2014.
The program fee of $150 includes the course fee, on-campus meals and refreshments. Participants are responsible for their housing and transportation; on campus housing is available. This program is generously supported by an endowment in honor of Cecil Thompson, former professor of evangelism at Columbia. For an application form, click here.
