Columbia Presbyterian Church Member Receives Fellowship at Columbia Seminary Commencement

Decatur, GA.— Cheryl Vaughan Mack, a member of Columbia Presbyterian Church, in Decatur, received the Master of Divinity degree and was presented the Fannie Jordan Bryan Fellowship on May 16 during commencement exercises of Columbia Theological Seminary. The Bryan Fellowship was established through a generous legacy left to Columbia by the late Fannie Jordan Bryan of Columbia, SC. The fellowship is awarded to an M.Div. student who intends to pursue further study. Mack, of Decatur, GA, holds the B.S. from Florida State University and the J.D. from Loyola Law School, in New Orleans. She is a candidate for ministry with the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta. Mack is one of 84 students who received diplomas from one of Columbia’s five degree programs during commencement exercises. Columbia Theological Seminary, founded in 1828, is one of 10 theological institutions of the Presbyterian Church (USA). xxx
