Broken Arrow Resident Receives Fellowship During Columbia Seminary Commencement

Decatur, GA.— Broken Arrow native Jonathan William Ball received the Master of Divinity degree and was awarded the Columbia Friendship Circle Graduate Fellowship on May 16 during commencement exercises of Columbia Theological Seminary. The Columbia Friendship Circle Fellowship, given to an outstanding graduate, recognizes superior academic achievement and provides support for further study. Ball holds the B.A. from The University of Tulsa. This fall he begins a year-long residency in clinical pastoral education at Portsbridge Hospice, serving the Atlanta area. Ball is one of 84 students who received diplomas from one of Columbia’s five degree programs during commencement exercises. Columbia Theological Seminary, founded in 1828, is one of 10 theological institutions of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
