Church Member Receives Award in Evangelism and Church Growth at Columbia Seminary Commencement
Decatur, GA.—Troy Edward Bronsink received the Master of Divinity degree and was presented the William Dudley Award on May 16 during commencement exercises of Columbia Theological Seminary. Bronsink is a candidate for ministry in the Presbytery of Inland Northwest and served at First Presbyterian Church as contemporary worship leader from 1998 to 2000. The Dudley Award is given to a Master of Divinity graduate who has shown significant achievement, interest, and commitment in the area of evangelism and church growth. Bronsink, originally from Charlotte, NC, holds the B.S. from Liberty University, in Lynchburg, VA. He is presently seeking a call in new church development in areas involving the arts and urban renewal. Bronsink is one of 84 students who received diplomas from one of Columbia’s five degree programs during commencement exercises. Columbia Theological Seminary, founded in 1828, is one of 10 theological institutions of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
