The Columbia Theological Seminary Policies and Procedures Manual contains policy guidelines and procedures that apply Seminary-wide, and is directed mainly to those individuals who have supervisory responsibility for Seminary operations. Department supervisors should familiarize themselves with its contents in order to provide appropriate direction to staff. At the same time, since the manual applies to all employees, it should be made known to employees and be made available for their review and reference.
While the statements contained in this Manual include general policies and procedures, it is impossible for policies and procedures to address every specific circumstance. It is not intended to be comprehensive or to address all of the possible applications of, or exceptions to, the general policies and procedures described. The information included in the Manual is current at the time of publication, but may be changed or amended by the Seminary in the future.
These policies are intended as guidelines for supervisors and managers and do not represent contractual obligations on the part of the Seminary.
