The 2023 Baccalaureate Service will be in the main sanctuary of
Decatur Presbyterian Church

Speaker: Dr. Marcia Y. Riggs, J. Erskine Love Professor of Christian Ethics and Seminary Ombudsperson.
Service: The doors to the sanctuary will open at 6:00 p.m. and the service will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Parking: Parking is available in the church lot with an entrance from Church Street, as well as in the Decatur Library lot (which is adjacent to the church) with an entrance from Sycamore Street. There will also be additional accessible parking for those with mobility issues directly across from the Church at the Sycamore House on Sycamore Street, or in the lane between the Church and the Decatur Library with a handicap ramp nearby.
Seating: Open seating is available to all staff and guests, except in designated spaces.
Reception: A reception will take place immediately after the service in the church’s Keith Parlor.
In addition, the 2023 Baccalaureate service, our 2020 and 2021 graduates, who were not able to celebrate in person, will be honored during this year’s event.
