While you’re on campus, swing by the library for a new exhibit featuring the papers of James McDowell Richards. The exhibit highlights Richards’ racial justice work, and includes his 1941 sermon, “Brothers in Black,” the 1946 Atlanta Minister’s manifesto, and letters from prominent Atlanta civil rights leaders. Some of the material, such as Richards’ 1961 chapel sermon on segregation, will be made available via CTS’s Institutional Repository.
