AAAS “Science for Seminaries” Lecture: Dr. Tyrone Hayes


tyronebh-web-090816Columbia Theological Seminary has invited Dr. Tyrone B. Hayes, the Class of ’43 Chair and Professor of Integrative Biology at the University of California, Berkeley to be the next lecturer as part of its “Science for Seminaries” program sponsored by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and the Association of Theological Schools (ATS). On September 21, 2016 at 11:00 am, Dr. Hayes will present his talk “From Silent Spring to Silent Night: A Tale of Toads and Men” on the herbicide atrazine and its negative impact on public health. This event is open to the public in the Ellis Room of the Richards Center on the Columbia Seminary campus located at 701 S. Columbia Drive, Decatur, GA near Atlanta.
