Exploring God’s Promise: “I am with you”
March 29, 2018—Rev. Amy Poling Sutherlun, author of the 2018-2019 PW/Horizons Bible Study will lead this summer’s class designed to prepare bible study leaders for the PW/Horizons Bible Study, God’s Promise: I Am with You. This study invites us to consider circumstances in scripture in which god articulated God’s promise of presence: “I am with you. I will be with you.” The nine-lesson study will help us discover how God’s promise speaks to us, as individuals and communities, in the extraordinary and ordinary aspects of our lives.
“The Center for Lifelong Learning has offered the PW/Horizon’s leader study classes for more than 20 years,” said Sarah Erickson, Director of Lifelong Learning. “They are among our most popular offerings, attracting close to 50 or more participants in the late summer.” Erickson encourages early registration, as the course registrations, including guest rooms, often fill by early July.
The dates for the class are July 23-25, and registration is available at this link. An early registration discount applies for course until May 23. After May 23, the full program fee will be charged, with discounts available for 2+ persons registering from the same group.
