An internship in a ministry or work setting that helps students gain additional experience in a specialized setting in a congregation or agency. Students work with a Supervisor to enhance basic competence, leadership skills, and vocational clarity in the area of specialization. Such specialization includes: public ministry, non-profit agency, youth ministry, campus ministry, camps/conference ministry, criminal justice/prison ministry, etc. Prerequisites: SM510 and at least 60 credits. This course is 400 hours, taken full-time in the summer or part-time over concurrent semesters, 3 credits per semester.
