2014 Opening Convocation
Columbia & Academics / Admissions & Aid / Students & Campus Life / Alumni & Alumnae / Pastors & Community
Time: 11:00 am
All faculty, staff and students are invited to join us for the Opening Convocation of Columbia Seminary. The event will be held at Columbia Presbyterian Church on Thursday, September 4 at 11:00 am (new time). This year’s Convocation will begin Columbia Seminary’s 187th session, and is open to the public.
The speaker will be Andrew Foster Connors, Senior Pastor of the Brown Memorial Park Avenue Presbyterian Church where he has served since 2004. A church “alive in the city and the world,” Brown Memorial Park Avenue continues to live into its mission to become a radically inclusive Christian community, sent into the world to work for God’s peace and justice.
