Perspectives on the Good News, led by David Bartlett. New Testament scholar and renowned preacher, David Bartlett, leads an in-depth exploration of how the good news of the Bible is still good news for us today by offering a study of selected biblical texts and their interpretation and application today through a study of several of his sermons. Mondays, 7:30-9:30 p.m.: October 17, 24, 31 and Nov. 7, 2005

Four Approaches to Learning, led by Rodger Nishioka and Kathy Dawson. When we offer Christian Education classes in our churches, what are our goals? Social transformation? Strengthening the faith community? Spiritual growth? Religious instruction? Identifying our goals for the learners can help us more effectively determine classroom setting and methods of instruction. Rodger and Kathy will walk through the principles and practices for each of these four approaches for congregational learning.
Mondays, 7:30-9:30 p.m.: Oct. 17, 24, 31 and Nov. 7, 2005
Cost for each course: $60 if paid in advance; $65 if paid at the door.
