In this course, students will watch a full-length feature film weekly, and through accompanying readings and discussion, will reflect on the pastoral care implications to be gleaned from the individual, family, and societal dynamics depicted – including contextual pastoral assessment, countertransference, theological reflection, and appropriate pastoral responses. (a web-distributed course open to basic degree, ThD and DMin/DEdMin students with the Intro. to Pastoral Care P520/P232 course as a prerequisite)
