Advanced Degree Program
For those who wish to reflect upon, refine, and grow their ministries
Apply Now!The Doctor of Educational Ministry (DEdMin) is designed for community leaders and educators across diverse settings—including religious and interreligious organizations, chaplaincy, nonprofits, congregations, schools, and other community facing organizations.
The program highlights decolonial and anti-colonial approaches to education that address the whole person, communities, and their formation. Students learn in a cohort model where they act as co-educators, both teaching and learning from one another. Together, they develop advanced, context-specific integration of educational frameworks, methodologies, and practices that offer new liberative models for teaching and learning.
Through collaborative work, students explore and advance innovative educational approaches that support flourishing ministries and communities of care.
Hybrid Format
The DEdMin is a part-time program for those actively employed in a position of educational ministry. Coursework includes residential intensives on campus as well as online synchronous and asynchronous components. Students typically complete their practicum and final research project at their place of ministry.

The next cohort will begin fall 2026. The application is open.
To apply for the DEdMin, prospective students must have the following:
First Year (12 credits)
Second Year (12 credits)
