“Who says a woman’s work isn’t high art?”
-Julia Alvarez, poet
The work done by women toggles both inward and outward, shaping the world and shaping the women who engage it. The capacity to do this work over time requires interior renewal as much as it demands external engagement. But when do you have the chance to ask yourself, “Is this (still) the work that is mine to do these days?”
Join us for this online evening series as we welcome Carrie Newcomer, Chanequa Walker-Barnes, Eileen Campbell-Reed, Christine Yoder, and Mai-Anh Tran. Their wisdom will help you reacquaint yourself with your work, your sense of self, and that which is asked of you.
Think of the five monthly evening sessions as an online “micro-retreat,” a time set apart with conversation, practices, and community-building in excellent company. Registration is sliding scale and open throughout the series.
