This course will explicate New Testament perspectives on the issues of wealth, poverty and economic justice by analyzing relevant texts in light of their historical and socio-economic contexts. Students will examine the ethical implications of those perspectives and explore how the scriptures can be employed to reflect on, and address, current economic structures.
