Examines the books of Proverbs, Job, and Qoheleth as theological resources for mission and ministry today; places these books in the context of other ancient Near Eastern literature and briefly considers the Song of Songs, Sirach, and Wisdom of Solomon. Attention given to creation themes and to the enigmatic character of personified wisdom. Prerequisite: B141
