SM5200 Internship within an Institution

An internship that engages the student in ministry within an academic, medical (non-CPE), denominational, ecumenical, etc. institution. The student gains experience in a particular area of ministry or service, and also develops the skills, insights and knowledge needed to relate this work to the larger institutional structures and mission. Supervision provided by a theologically trained leader within the institutional site. This course may be taken for 400 hours, 6 credits (Summer, or fall/spring semester concurrently); or for 200 hours, 3 credits.
