H589 African Women’s Theologies

This course is a critical analysis of African women’s theologies through the works of African women from different contexts. The course explores how different women from their varied contexts use theology to articulate different forms of spiritualties and ethical issues and expose and challenge injustice in both church and society. Topics will include religion culture, and ecological concerns. The course finally brings to light ways in which African women have created space for theological discourse and are impacting the growth and development of theology church.
