This course explores biblical, theological, and ethical perspectives on healing within the Christian tradition with a particular focus on contemporary healthcare chaplaincy. Students will consider the complexities of healing theologies and practices in light of diverse experiences of illness, disability, and trauma. Students will also reflect on the role of prayer, sacraments, and pastoral presence as sites of healing within the practice of spiritual care.
